The main function of Trailer slack adjuster is to automatically adjust the gap (or "brake gap") between the brake drum and the brake shoe in the brake system to ensure that the brake system can work continuously and efficiently. With the use and wear of the brake system, the brake clearance will gradually increase, which will lead to a decrease in braking efficiency. By installing slack adjuster, this gap can be automatically and timely adjusted to maintain the best performance of the brake system.

 

 

The working principle of Trailer slack adjuster usually involves mechanical or hydraulic transmission mechanisms.
