Structure and Working Principle
Core components:
Lock head: A conical component inserted into the corner of a container, which rotates to hold the inner wall of the corner.
Operating handle: Manually rotate to control the lock status (lock/unlock).
Spring mechanism: Assists in resetting the lock or maintaining the locked state.
Base: Fixed on a trailer or chassis vehicle.
Work process:
The lock is inserted into the corner piece of the container.
Rotate the handle 90°, and the lock will horizontally lock the inner wall of the corner piece.
When unlocking, rotate the handle in the opposite direction to release the container.
Key points for installation and use
Installation position: Twist locks must be installed at all four corners of the trailer or chassis truck, corresponding to the container corner pieces.
Operation steps:
Check whether the twist lock is in good condition and remove any debris from the corner pieces.
Lower the container and make sure the corner pieces are aligned with the lock.
Rotate the handle to the locked position (usually a "click" sound is heard).
Make sure the lock is securely fastened (without any looseness).
Notes:
Lubricate the lock core regularly to prevent rust.
Check whether all the twist locks are locked before transportation.
Driving is prohibited when the vehicle is not fully locked.
